Excellence Trails Safaris ("we", "us") is an owner-run tour operator based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Questions or requests go to info@excellencetrails.com or +263 77 298 2206.

Enquiry details — your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, party size and the notes you choose to send us.

Booking details — passport information required for national park permits and border crossings, flight numbers, next-of-kin contact, and any dietary, medical or mobility information you share so we can travel safely with you.

Payment records — proof of transfer and invoice records. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment provider.

Site usage — anonymous statistics about pages viewed, collected only if you accept analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, make the bookings your trip requires, meet legal and park-authority obligations, keep you safe in the field, and process payment. Where you have given consent, we may send occasional trip news — never more than a few times a year, and every message carries an unsubscribe link.

Only the suppliers your own trip needs: lodges and camps, the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, air and boat operators, cross-border transport partners and our payment provider. Where you book through WeTravel, Airbnb or a listing partner, those platforms process your booking under their own policies. We share the minimum required, and we never sell, rent or trade your information.

Enquiries and booking files are held in our email and booking systems, which may be hosted outside Zimbabwe. We retain enquiry records for 24 months and booking and financial records for five years, as tax law requires, after which they are deleted.

Access is restricted to the small number of staff who need it. Accounts are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, devices are encrypted, and passport scans are deleted once permits are issued. No system is perfect; if a breach affected you we would tell you promptly and directly.

• Have inaccurate details corrected.
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
• Object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it.

We only collect information about children travelling with you, provided by their parent or guardian, and only what is needed for permits and safety.

This site links to WhatsApp, Tripadvisor, Viator, Google Maps and Google Fonts. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes affecting current bookings, contact affected guests directly.
